Nicholas Sproul A.K.A. Dj Nieko  is a Chicago native – and trust me – I was defo feeling that when he sent me his Slackin’ mix – and I had a chance to preview what you get this Sunday, October 2nd. – another exclusive mix of dance music that helps you ease your way back into the week after whatever it is you do at the weekend.

Nieko , like so many others who call chi-town their home – began his DJ career with  funky house, eventually evolving into the electro house DJ he is today.  Nieko isn’t the kind of dj that is limited to one genre – he has been seen spinning  breaks, trance, dubstep, and DNB – all over the map!

An in-demand jock  - Nieko has made appearances at many  parties inside and outside of the Chicago city limits as well as outside of Illinois in places including
Detroit MI, St. Louis MO, and Indiana and Wisconsin. Appearances include those at underground parties as well as bars and clubs throughout the Chicagoland area.

For his episode of the Slackin’ podcast – Nicholas has prepared a very rare treat (in these days at least) – an all vinyl slackin’ mix! This is the first vinyl set from him in over 4 years(!) – and like I said – I’ve heard it – it’s the dope!  This episode is for those of us that can’t get enough boogie down – house music style.
